Net­work

Fol­lo­wing an initia­tive by the pla­s­tics indus­try, the asso­cia­tion “Kunststoff-​Netzwerk Fran­ken e.V.” (VDWF) was estab­lished in 2003 as a coope­ra­tive asso­cia­tion of various pla­s­tics pro­ces­sing com­pa­nies. The con­nec­tion bet­ween these com­pa­nies enables inten­sive com­mu­ni­ca­tion and direct exch­an­ges of expe­ri­ence within the industry.

That way, each indi­vi­dual com­pany has the oppor­tu­nity to pool the region’s exper­tise, deve­lop joint solu­ti­ons and improve its own inno­va­tive capacity.

For­men­tech­nik Bay­reuth has been a mem­ber of this asso­cia­tion since 2003, making it one of the foun­ding members.
